Alesso Announces Career Plans For 2016

Ever since he released a plethora of hit singles between 2012 and 2013, Alesso has been riding a major wave of success in his career. Songs such as “Calling (Lose My Mind)“, “Years“, and “If I Lose Myself” caught wind quickly and are still being played at festivals today.

2015 saw the Swedish DJ/ producer release his first studio album, Forever, which included the notorious radio hit “Heroes (We Could Be)” as well as “Under Control”. Not long after, Alesso has announced a slew of plans for the upcoming year including a number of EPs, scaling back on festival performances and even a clothing line that will arrive in time for this year’s holiday season.

Alesso told Billboard:

“I wanted to limit the amount of appearances I made worldwide in 2016 in order to really focus on the experience, and make it really special. The EPs will also allow me to capture a period of time or an influence from a particular place and sound, then encapsulate it in one piece of work and later move easily into a new phase.”

Although Alesso will be scaling back his touring schedule, the young artist will be sure to have a busy year in 2016 full of music production and expanding his career.
