Afrojack – Unstoppable

Afrojack – Unstoppable

Right now it’s still all the rage to hate on the big names in dance music. Whether it be Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, or Afrojack the “trendy” EDM listeners automatically lambaste anything these artists do. While sometimes the criticisms are valid, some of those artists like Afrojack are worth a new look. Clearly putting his lackluster debut album in his rearview, Nick van de Wall has been returning to the type of music that made him who is he, gritty and energetic electro house. He began this renewed effort through his NLW moniker, and one of the most anticipated IDs was called “Unstoppable“. It turns out Afrojack decided to release the track under his own alias, and it’s one of his better efforts in recent memory.

The track starts off with a very unassuming intro before hitting an irresistibly catch breakdown, perfect for a quick tempo change in a live set. For those who have seen Afrojack recently, this track always goes off and surprises the crowd. The track keeps building in intensity as it goes on, reaching a a heavier and more big room style beat. It almost feels like 2 different tracks in one, but each part is a certified festival stage slayer. Unstoppable is out now on Wall Recordings so grab your copy and check out the stream.
