Snakehips – All My Friends (feat. Tinashe & Chance the Rapper)
Snakehips are constantly dishing out smooth singles and remixes that showcase their prowess with indie electronica. The duo’s newest release features the young R&B songstress Tinashe and equally young Chance the Rapper. “All My Friends” opens with soft instrumentals followed by the two vocalists doing their thing, and we even get a little taste of what Chance would sound like as “Chance the Singer.” Being that all three have a good grasp on their respective genres, the song strives to showcase the talent of each artist individually while also bringing them together in a stellar ensemble. Snakehips provides the luscious music that coincides with Tinashe’s soft singing voice and Chance’s unique rapping. Snakehips are standout artists among other electronic music producers because of their ability to create beautiful melodies that transcend the ordinary EDM format. Some of their other tracks, such as “Forever Pt. II” feat. Kaleem Taylor and their remix of Flight Facilities’ “Heart Attack,” showcase more of their unique style.
