Producing some of the most rolling, speaker rattling, dance floor shaking house music this side of dirtybird, Option4 returns with two tracks that will certifiably jump start your house music selections. The A side, aptly named ‘Vibe On’ is a vocal-lead tune (courtesy of Michael O) that dissolves into a stuttering, sliced up, beauty of a four to the floor ass shaker. ‘Say Woo’, on the other hand, is a darker iteration of the same concept, going even more minimal over a thick collection of low frequency musings.
The EP will be a first in a long line of releases from Brennen Bryarly, the Denver native more commonly known as Option4 these days. The man behind the vast majority of Denver’s underground house scene these days via his TheHundred Presents promotions company has mastered and flexed his style on this two track outing – the sound is noticeably Option4 – a rarity in a scene that lives off of copycat production.
