Remember the producer XVII? Well, if you don’t, he is now going by a new alias, Vincent, and he’s firing out the gates with some of the best trap and bass music to hit the blogosphere in recent times. With his previous moniker, he built a legion of followers, and now he’s continuing to gain recognition with several remixes and even an original.
Most recently, this Winnipeg-based future star has lent his production prowess to Alessia Cara, a gifted artist, who’s been taking over airwaves with her new EP. The lead single off of the EP, “Here,” is one of the biggest tunes of the year, and Vincent has managed to take it one step further with a striking remix of it that merges trip-hop-esque beats with contemporary bass music for a masterful, hybridized jam.
