The Chainsmokers Announce 33-Stop “Friendzone Tour”

Looking to finish their impressive year on a high note, The Chainsmokers just announced their plans for the fall; the duo will be heading out on a club tour hitting 37 cities across North America from late October to early December dubbed the ‘Friendzone’ Tour.

Kicking off in Nashville, Tennessee on October 23rd, the Friendzone Tour will make stops in plenty of small market cities as well as three stops at Hakkasan in Las Vegas and notorious dance music venues such as Echostage in Washington, DC and New City Gas in Montreal. The Chainsmokers announced the Friendzone Tour for the first time earlier this month at Lollapalooza, and did a test run of their new 3D visual setup ‘The Full Monte‘ at Firefly Music Festival in June, which received an amazing response. In an interview with Fuse TV at Lollapalooza, Drew Taggart described the uniqueness of ‘The Full Monte’:

“It’s 3-D projection mapping, which a lot of DJs don’t use; they usually use LED panels.”

In addition to bringing their new 3D projection that has been in the works for over a year, they will also be bringing a ton of opening acts including Loudpvck, Shaun Frank, SNBRN, Steve James and special guest Matoma. Take a look below to see if the Friendzone Tour will be making it to your city, as well as the rest of the acts you may have a chance to see at various stops on the tour. Check out the tour dates below the break!
