Sammy T. & Eric David – Come Over (Original Mix)

Come Over
It’s been more than a few months since Eric David has released anything to the world. His last offerings, an original on Night Supply Records labeled “Walked Outta Heaven” and two remixes; one of Goldroom’s “Till Sunrise” with j.harmon and a remix of Nineteenineties indie pop track “Wild Hearts” that had him stretching the imagination of house music as well as delving into the some realms of pop.

This time, he’s teamed up with Sammy T: a vocalist and entrepreneur extraordinaire of the Denver area and beyond, with a project that has been a year in the making. Purpose, a 4 track EP, takes house music and flips it around; injecting a little soul and pop to the mix that gives their audience something a tad different than most of the market can give right now.

The lead single “Come Over” starts hot out of the gate with a fresh melody and some truly intoxicating vocals. Coupled with stark piano stabs and a bassline that never ends, you can quite easily see the outside-the-box thinking. The other three tunes, solidly produced, show the dexterity of the relationship that Eric David and Sammy T wield together.
