Justin Jay Reveals ‘Mom, I Graduated’ EP With “Hit It,” Announces World Tour

Justin Jay is an act who transcends labels. Every release taps into a different genre and has its own unique feel due to the LA talent’s affinity for thinking outside the box every time he hits the studio. He originally established himself when he was taken under the wing of Dirtybird leader, Claude VonStroke, but has since been a force in the house and techno spaces. Returning to the label that bred him, Justin Jay is kicking off his next EP, Mom, I Graduated, on Dirtybird by revealing the first single, “Hit It.”

It’s a prime example of Justin Jay’s natural gift of balancing his witty, carefree attitude with his inclination for ominous beats. Standing strong on a bed of growling undertones, whispers sharing the words “hit it, quit it,” and piercing ivory progressions, “Hit It” is a track that once you’re hooked in, you won’t be able to escape until the last beat comes to a close. Mom, I Graduated will be released on September 14th via Dirtybird.

In conjunction with the release, this Los Angeles-based talent also announced his first world tour, appropriately dubbed “Mom, I Graduated,” that runs across North America, over to the UK, down to Brazil, and back again – all before the year end. Some of the most notable dates include Electric Zoo, TomorrowWorld, Decibel Festival, Dirtybird Campout, and CRSSD Festival, amongst many others.
