Jody Wisternoff – The Bridge feat. Sian Evans
(Shur-i-kan Remix)

There isn’t much Anjunadeep isn’t doing these days to turn the heads of established house veterans as well as those coming off the dubstep/big room band wagon. They’re firing on all cylinders while leaving a lot to be desired.

Jody Wisternoff has been a mainstay on the label for many years, mixing the last two Anjundeep compilations with James Grant while working on the seventh as we speak. Also, don’t forget the announcement on ABGT 128 regarding the historied Way Out West reuniting featuring Wisternoff and Nick Warren.

After garnishing support from Annie Mac, Pete Tong and Danny Howard on his tune “My Love”, Shur-i-kan uses the original arrangement of the string ensemble followed by an off beat bass rhythm to create quite the palpable amount of tension. This results in a dramatic transformation of “The Bridge“, as the original alternatively pours out a heaping helping of gorgeous ethereal and melodic tones.
