Martin Garrix feat. Usher – Don’t Look Down

The worlds of electronic music and R&B continue to blend with collaborations that seemed impossible just months ago. Hot on the heels of Jack U’s team up with Justin Bieber, wunderkind Martin Garrix has enlisted Usher to throw some vocals on his latest track, “Don’t Look Down”. When the two teased this collaboration recently, it sent the internet into a frenzy. Usher has actually done some work in the dance music world before, most notably his collaborations with Swedish House Mafia and David Guetta. This latest single was due to be released tomorrow, but in some regions of the world, it is already tomorrow. Thanks internet!

The track follows the same aesthetic Garrix established with his last release, “Forbidden Voices”. The track features a guitar driven intro, Usher’s crooning and light tropical-sounding synths that might not be out of place in a Kygo single. It appears that Martin Garrix is ready to show a new side of himself for 2015 and the refreshed logo was indicative of a refreshed sound as well. Check out the track below and be sure to purchase it here.
