It’s hard to nail down what to expect from GTA. The versatile production duo is constantly trying new sounds and evolving their style. Strongly against the confines of one single genre, the Maimi-based duo has sent a message with their latest EP, Death To Genres, and the music fits the title. Featuring 7-tracks, the EP is filled with all new tracks and massive collaborations. Out today, their highlighted single ‘Red Lips’ is making us itch to hear the rest of EP. The enigmatic original starts with nightmare-esque vocals and echoing instrumentals that lead up to classic trap 808’s and a bass-heavy, brass-driven drop. Combining elements from various genres with GTA’s classic sound, the duo manages to keep it unique while being true to who they are as artists.
