EDX – Want You (Preview)
Earlier this year, we mentioned how EDX has remained one of the most timeless artists of our generation, and with his latest single, “Want You,” the Swiss-based producer is proving us right once again. Slated for release on the sub label of the iconic Ministry of Sound, HK Records, “Want You” comes just months after two monumental releases. EDX’s remix of “Uruguay” by fellow Helvetic Nerds collective members, Nora en Pure and Sons of Maria, dominated not only the Beatport Deep House chart, but also fared quite well on the Beatport Top 10, where it currently sits at #8, while “Remember House” drew the attention of fans and tastemakers around the world as it showcased a clubbier side of the progressive mastermind.
Every EDX release is met with high standards, for good reason, and “Want You” does not disappoint. First premiered by Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1, the track comes through with the spectacular EDX flair that we all know and love, while the talented producer artfully weaves the rest of the track together with stabbing synths and clubby melodies.
