Ratatat Is Hitting The Road Again After 4 Year Touring Hiatus

Ratatat
Ratatat, the sample hip-hop and guitar-based duo out of Brooklyn, New York responsible for the track “Loud Pipes” (trust me you’ve heard it), is hitting the road after a 4 year touring hiatus. Even though their last album release was nearly 5 years ago, fans have stayed hungry, searching high and low to find that live sound. The fact that Ratatat has stayed more or less off the grid since 2011 remains a surprise for a group whose popularity, as ranked by Songkick, finds them right above house phonemes Disclosure and right behind the ever-popular Afrojack. The recent announcement that Ratatat would be among the artists to make the trip to Indio, California for Coachella was the first tour statement (besides single concert in Miami, Florida in 2013) since their hugely successful 2011 tour. Though only a handful of additional destinations have surfaced, there are more expected to come through. Check to see if Ratatat will be coming your way:
