Skrillex & Dillon Francis Will Be Featured On Forthcoming What So Not EP

Skrillex
In an interview with Elektro Daily, What So Not‘s Chris Emerson (aka Emoh Instead) discussed his plans for his upcoming EP. Emerson and Harley Streten (aka Flume) have been hard at work in the studio putting the finishing touches on their forthcoming release. In a move that is sure to delight fans, the Australian producer announced that the EP will be 4-5 tracks and include collaborations with Dillon Francis, Skrillex and possibly A$AP Ferg. He says that the song with Francis, which they have both been playing in their live sets, is almost completed and that the Skrillex collaboration is also expected to be done in time for the release.

The EP represents serious musical growth for What So Not, as it is set to be a diverse, genre-defying release. Blending trap, rap and dubstep, it will be exciting to see exactly where the duo will go in their ever expanding music catalogue. What So Not has been off to a stellar 2015, as they started it off with a bang at SnowGlobe and announced a 2015 performance at Coachella soon after. With Flume’s ever expanding popularity, we can only hope that we continue to see more out of the project. Although Flume stopped touring with Emoh Instead to focus on his solo work, this news sounds like an indication that they will continue to produce together for a long while.
