Batting eighth on Sam Feldt’s ‘Sneeuwkust‘ mixtape a few moons ago, De Hofnar‘s remix of Gostan‘s ‘Klanga‘ has finally made its way onto SoundCloud. Preserving the core pieces of the original, De Hofnar juices up the sensual sax riffs by injecting a hint of island flavor, whilst keeping the iconic words of U.S. President John Fitzgerald Kennedy’s 1963 ‘Ich bin ein Berliner’ speech intact. The combination of tropical and deep house seldom goes awry, and that rings true here as De Hofnar’s rendition of ‘Klanga’ is simply magical.
