Bearcubs – Touch (Original Mix)
In his newest single release entitled ‘Touch‘, London based producer Bearcubs delivers an intimate deep house track that boasts a soulful vocal performance by Bearcubs himself. The intro immediately hooks the listener to a smooth thumb piano rhythm backed up by subtle synth swells and soft chimes to mold a beautifully layered tropical groove that grabs the listener with its depth and quality. In the first track he feels he “sung properly”, Bearcubs gives listeners a glimpse of some soulful vocals that could stand alone, but are wonderfully complemented by the song’s other stand-out elements. The tastefully muted kicks laced with sublimely placed stabs, organic percussion based riffs, and Bearcubs’ emanating vocals lend themselves to a well rounded and warm track. ‘Touch’ is available on iTunes pre-order via Grand Central Records, and his soundcloud offers a lengthy list of remixes including his latest remix of Gorgon City’s ‘Here For You’ that creates a similar warm and intricate atmosphere as ‘Touch’.
