All hail the seafox!!!… a mystical creature adopted by progressive house power-duo, Galantis. Comprised of Christian Karlsson (of Miike Snow) and Linus Eklow (Style of Eye), the duo just debuted their live video to go along with their summer smash, Help. The footage is largely pulled from their live April debut at Coachella. If you look closely enough, you’ll catch a quick snipit of their world class mentor, Kaskade, on stage with them. As if this celebrity endorsement wasn’t enough to give you faith in this duo, start this video over, turn up the volume, put on your best headphones, and let it ride.
“Help” captures a simple vocal riff, and a melodic bass that builds both verses into a “feelsy fever pitch,”free of the commercialized, dissonant big room drops that have slowly taken over the style of many producers that would call themselves progressive.
