InDeep Presents: InDeep Sessions 28

InDeep Presents: InDeep Sessions 27

It’s Friday and that means it’s time to get your weekend on. And InDeep has your music covered. 16 of our favorite, hand selected tracks from the past two weeks, encompassing the best in underground house. It’s been a busy week for the ID team here. As you can see from our shiny banner up top, we announced our first show. Bender will grace the decks of King King Hollywood on September 05, and we couldn’t be more chummed about it. Mr. Bender will be playing an extended three hour set. Needless to say, we cannot wait to dance with all of you. You can buy tickets right here, and be sure you do so ASAP. King King is only a 300 person venue, and they’ll go quickly.

This week’s InDeep Sessions starts off with a groovy peak time monster in the shape of a Duke Dumont edit. From there, Man Without a Clue takes you through his undeniable recognizable vocal samples and heavy, tech house bass lines. There are two Todd Terry InHouse Records tracks on this playlist this week. I’ve been a big fan of the stuff coming out of there for a few months now; the evidently Detroit-influenced sound is proper, indeed. There’s even an actual deep house track here, in the form of a Matthias Heilbronn remix of “Find a Way.”  There’s a lot of goodies that follow, from Suara Records, Lost & Found, FlicFlac, Guy J, and many more. We wrap up the playlist with a shoutout to Above & Beyond, having included their recently-premiered “Blue Sky Action (Club Mix).” It’s not deep all the time, and what better way to remind everyone of that then with a little Above & Beyond?
