This Dude Snuck into Every Major Music Festival and Documented a Jawbreaking Movie

Marcus Haney,Bonnaroo, Coachella, Ultra Music Festival Sneak in
Marcus Haney is living every music-lover’s dream. He’s been to “almost 50 [music festivals] around the world” by sneaking into different events over the course of four years. Not only is it an incredible feat to accomplish having never been caught, but Haney’s daring acts have been caught on camera, and are featured in his new documentary, No Cameras Allowed. According to Vice, Haney shoots for television stations like HBO and makes music videos on the side. The trailer was released for the upcoming film, and he did an interview with Vice, where they asked the main question that was on our mind:

Update [9/10]: The full documentary is now available for streaming below:

Vice: The trailer for the film shows you guys printing off fake passes and making wristbands. What techniques have you used to get into festivals?
MH: We’ve done everything. Everything from jumping fences to fake wristbands to posing as security to posing as artists to posing as press to running through truck entrances to going underneath fences.
Along with:
Vice: In the trailer there’s a clip of you being kicked out of a festival. What situations have you been in where people have asked you to leave and how have you dealt with it?
MH: You get kicked out loads. As long as you flip your shirt inside out and take a different approach, you’ll be fine. The gnarliest one was Bonnaroo 2010. I got kicked out on the Sunday, they put me in a farm equipment, hay-bail carrier thing, and drove me out the site. They ended up dropping me about four miles away, in the middle of nowhere, and took off.

We were able to learn, from the interview, that this had all started at Coachella in 2010. From then on Haney hit up Glastonbury, Bonnaroo, Ultra, and even the Grammys….and he never once paid for a ticket. View the trailer above and look out for release dates in your nearby theater.
