Pioneer Reveals The Newly Redesigned Rekordbox 3.0

Always at the forefront of the latest technology in the turntable game, Pioneer recently announced its next innovation: an upgraded version of its classic Rekordbox software.

In this new age music, CDJ’s are no longer a means to simply switch between two different disks. Instead, they have evolved essentially into the industry standard device, or controller, to operate and sift through large collections of music imported via USB drives or memory cards. With Pioneer’s newest set-prep software, users are given a vast toolbox to organize libraries, add cue points, along with countless other perks to add to any DJ’s arsenal of weapons.

Not only did the software see a revamp in its user interface, but also an intuitive renovation to how the software approaches and learns from its user’s own track selection. With goodies such as the “Match” feature, users are allowed to fluidly link tracks together. This enables Rekordbox to make suggestions on the style of tracks the DJ would like to play in the future. Other improvements include the ability to view up to five different playlists of tunes, a tight and accurate beat grid, as well as a crossfader included, all of which are included in the software.

Check out the video below for a more in-depth look at the intuitive software that is out now available for download. Pioneer also wants its users to know that since version 3.0 is now available to the market, they will no longer be supporting older versions of the same software.
