Felix Cartal and vocalist Chloe Angelides dropped their ever popular single ‘Ready for Love’ back in April of this year, and over 1.2 million soundcloud plays later it’s time for some remixes! The remix EP drops tomorrow, July 15th, and will feature a radio mix and new takes from TAI (club and radio), Chardy, Matt Zanardo and Steve James.
EDMTunes is excited for the EP release and we’re looking forward to hearing it in full. With that said, we’re even more excited to give you guys and exclusive premiere on TAI’s radio mix. TAI has taken the intensity of the original and turned it up a couple levels. A smooth build supported by Chloe’s vocalizing (no singing just yet), paired with a tight percussion line make for an energetic intro to the track; this is quickly followed by a floorliftin’, roof-burnin’ drop into high pitched stabby electro synths and heavy vocal filtering. Of course there’s room for some pretty lead synths in the back drop of the breakdown that break up craziness and give Chloe’s voice a chance to really shine.
