Not too long ago, the mere idea of Diplo and Skrillex collaborating on a project together had fans mystified. However, with the official announcement of JACK U last May and the events leading up to this summer, what was an urban legend is now a reality. While playing at a waterfront venue in Paris recently, Diplo bestowed a gift upon fans, as he unveiled a preview to an upcoming JACK U track. Quick to offer a disclaimer regarding the sound quality, quoting ‘it sounds like sh*t’, Diplo kicked off the elusive preview with soulful vocals that gradually made way for hard-hitting whompy bass sequences. As JACK U has ramped up their activity as of late, this trappy original definitely had fans percolating in anticipation for the eventual full album release.
