We hope none of you were holding your breath while waiting for Baauer to release a new track because you would have been long gone by now. It was obvious that budding superstar was up to something yesterday after uploading an absurd audio clip to SoundCloud and launching a new website. Thankfully, these moves had some purpose behind them, as we were treated to his new single, Clang, today. Baauer’s creativity and innovativeness shine throughout this blissful tune, reminding listeners why he is considered one of the brightest young stars in the game. The Philadelphia native may have left us begging for new tunes for a while now, but by the sounds of his latest Facebook post in which he said that “Clang” is the “beginning of a whole lotta new”, we can only assume we will be bringing you more new Baauer in no time.
