With the 16th annual holding of Ultra Music Festival now behind us, slowly but surely the various sets from the massive weekend are starting to make their way onto the internet for everyone to hear. This is especially beneficial to all the fans who did not have the opportunity to catch the upcoming rising producers who played on the smaller but still lively stages. By now, you’ve hopefully listened to Henry Fong’s electrifying set from this year’s Ultra. Having been there to have caught his set at the UMF Radio stage, it can be assured that although the stage was small, his set was still as every bit energetic as those of the bigger stages. Fong easily took control of the crowd at the UMF Radio stage by starting with his own collaboration with Mike Hawkins and Toby Green, “Hot Steppa.” He then went through a flow of different electro house and melbourne bounce songs like R3hab and Deorro’s “Flashlight” to keep the crowd engaged. Fong’s constant stream of electro bangers and melbourne tunes was enough to keep the energy in the crowd high and going on for the hour in the intense Miami heat. It was a set not to be missed, and from one of the industry’s fastest rising producers at that, having consistent support from both OWSLA and Spinnin’ Records.
