While many Audien fans wring their fingers hoping and praying the melodic genius won’t veer too far from his Anjunabeats and progressive wonders, we should always support a producer’s branching out to test the waters in different styles. Featured in the Above and Beyond’s Group Therapy 075 and 076, Audien’s remix of R3hab, NERVO, and Ummet Ozcan’s “Revolution” rounds out the edges of the aggressively synth-dominated original with a classic keyboard melody that builds into an uplifting, emotional prowess of a drop. Though we wouldn’t want Audien jumping too far away from his melodic ways, we’re happy to hear his touch permeate throughout various sectors of the EDM community.
