Finally, the wait is (almost) over. From floating around as an ID since nearly a year ago to Steve Angello (and his Swedish counterparts, including the ex-SHMs and Alesso) dropping this breathtaking piece of artwork in pretty much all the big festival gigs, “Payback” has finally gotten the nod to be released on Size Records / Columbia on 22 April 2014. Combined with live crowd energy, festival atmosphere and mind-blowing LED lights, this track was so powerful in Ultra Miami that it made everyone just want to close their eyes and absorb every note of its infectious melodies. Safe to say, “Payback” is one of the most anticipated releases of the year and it represents the sort of top quality productions you always hear from the almighty Steve Angello (personally can’t wait to see Angello drop his upcoming album, recently he’s been playing so many unreleased tracks in his sets that can be described as nothing but sheer brilliance) and the talented Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman. “Payback” is definitely a release not to be missed, so sit back and enjoy the short preview below.
