Knife Party Previews New Track Off Upcoming Album at FMF Sydney

Tis the season for new music! Knife Party, the DJ duo comprised of Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen, have been on the down low with new music. Their last EP, Haunted House, released on May 6, 2013, and since then, we haven’t had anything to sink our teeth into… until now. Currently touring, Knife Party tweeted that they opened up their Future Music Festival Sydney set with a track from their upcoming album. Yes, ALBUM! All we’ve gotten out of the two are three fantastic EPs, and now it would appear a full length artist album is coming. Coupled with the somewhat old news that a new Pendulum album may also rear its head in 2014, Rob Swire is going to be a busy man. We can’t complain, however, as the busier he stays, the more new music we’ll ultimately get.

The track ID is short, less than two minutes, but the video gives us enough to be looking forward to something promising. Look at those visuals! Their gigantic drops are still very much present in their music, and with Gareth counting it down, the crowd is riled, as are we watching this video, and we are instantly reminded why Knife Party is here in the first place: to destroy us (with lasers).
