Guy J has been receiving some much deserved attention lately in the melodic techno scene. His productions shine with absolute precision and an attention to detail to rival anyone in the genre. This latest remix of Hernan Cattaneo & Soundexile’s  “Altir” is another stunning rework from the Israeli, featuring a brooding textbook tribal drum pattern and an encompassing breakdown that blends elements of trance progressive and techno delicately.  A warm, drifting bass line underneath a spacey, contemplative main riff carry the remix along beautifully. All in all another solid display of new age melodic techno from a man at the top of his game.
