Kaskade Lights Las Vegas on Fire, Rings in 2014 at XS

2013 was quite a year for Ryan Raddon, the artist far better known as Kaskade. With the release of his 10th artist album ‘Atmosphere’also came two Grammy nominations; one for best Dance/Electronic Album and an additional nod for best Dance Recording, respectively. ‘Atmosphere‘ was accompanied by its very own mega tour, a follow up to the more intimate (and unforgettable) Redux tour conducted earlier in the year. And how could we forget Summer Lovin? As voted by fans as “America’s Best DJ” in October, for Kaskade 2013 was purely a year of memories, milestones and moments.
There’s no other way to say it: 2013 has been a party.
To close out the party, XS Las Vegas provided the perfect venue to commemorate such an epic year. Ranking in the top 50 of DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs, XS is the mega-nightclub located in the Wynn Hotel. Hosting a staggering capacity of 5,000, New Year’s Eve provided a packed house there to celebrate one final moment with Ryan this 2013.
To all my people headed out to @XSlasvegas tonight – get in early and come prepared…
The night’s production was nothing short of spectacular, with a full frenzy countdown to the New Year complete with fireworks, streamer, balloons, and heaps of CO2. Kaskade played for hours into the night, progressing effortlessly into one of his deepest sets. And the first song he played in 2014? Definitely ‘Atmosphere‘, an appropriate selection for both the album and the song’s amazing success and popularity, an iconic classic already.
From the EDMTunes Family, we wish Kaskade even more success in 2014 and can’t wait for what this year has in store.
