If you saw our post about acts to watch in 2014, you probably noticed we have high expectations for The Chainsmokers this year. Their latest release, a fresh take on Ellie Goulding’s “Goodness Gracious”, has us doubling down on that statement. It’s not surprising to see producers taking on an Ellie Goulding track, but The Chainsmokers’ rework here is among the best we’ve heard, a perfect blend of the essence of the original with some big melodic energy ripe for the dance floor.
