More unwavering support comes out of the EDM world for the Philippines yesterday when Nicky Romero decided to post a short clip describing his newest project. Romero, who plays a show in Manila, Philippines the 21st, states in the clip that all proceeds from his show will be donated to relief efforts of Typhoon Haiyan. The typhoon hit the Philippines only a few weeks ago with death tolls in the thousands and counting. While efforts to clean up have been huge, there is still tons of work to be done. All the necessary help needed in the Philippines has touched Romero in a way that he has also decided to create his own hashtag , #Nicky4Manila, specifically geared towards anything having to do with the disaster. On top of that he says he’ll be giving away VIP tickets to the show in Manila.
