Hook N Sling, aka Anthony Maniscalco, has taken Krewella’s recent release, “Live For The Night” and given it a different feel. He adds a completely new buildup, featuring an uptempo 4×4 beat, which is assisted by echoes of the Yousaf sister’s vocals, ultimately leading into the first massive drop. Anthony has basically recreated the original into a minimal, high energy, progressive/ electro house banger. Interestingly enough, this remix does not utilize Krewella’s vocals very often at all, and instead chooses to focus on the progressive melody that is present throughout. The remix is entirely different from the original mix, but that’s what makes a remix an actual remix (looking at you, Putbull).
