There is nothing better than a well produced song being remixed by another masterful artist. Hailing from New York City, Branchez definitely fits that criteria. He has taken Mat Zo’s brilliant “Pyramid Scheme” and reworked it into a bass-riddled, trap infused delight. The high-pitch jabs meld perfectly with an infectious yet subtle drum presence, and really give the track a twerky feel. The man really knows how to make a song his own, while still keeping the essential essence of the original, and that is a hard thing to do. Make sure to catch Branchez out on the current Zeds Dead tour. You might just be lucky enough to hear this remix in person.
