House Music: Adventures Down The Rabbit Hole 03

What’s up? It’s time for episode three. Deep house, tech house, minimal, garage, and other similar stuff. It’s been a while, but rest assured, this will become a very regular series here on EDMTunes. Grassroots movement. These genres will take off in the U.S, and have already begun to do so with the aggressive advances of acts such as Disclosure and Dusky into the U.S market. Anyways, let’s get to this week’s episode. Last time, the set of the week (err, two weeks…?) was Jody Wisternoff’s Way Out There August mix. Well, I’m including the September release here simply because it’s too good not to, along with a link to his Intensified mix. Don’t fret though, as there’s a fresh Bloes Brothers podcast to keep things clean. Onward and upward.

Purple Disco Machine – Move Or Not
PURPLE DISCO MACHINE BABY. They’ve had a big year so far, many strong releases with “My House” being the standout.

Guy J – Milestone
Guy J needs no introduction. ABGT 50 is one month away and he is one of the openers. Can’t wait. Two new tracks from him:

Electric Rescue – Non Exchangable
An aggressive, techno-rich offering from Electric Rescue. Bedrock Records knows what’s up.

Pet Shop Boys – Love Is A Bourgeois Construct (Claptone Remix) (Preview)
New Claptone. If you don’t know Claptone, you need to. His music is essential. It’s why the throwback is a pair of Claptone tracks this week.

Claptone – Wrong / No Eyes [Throwback Tracks]
What is there to say about “Wrong”? It’s amazing. It’s pure, it’s deep, it’s dark. Still Dre. You’ll notice that there are two tracks in this SC link, and that’s okay. Because the second is Claptone’s “No Eyes”, which is equally amazing. Both tracks are transcendent.

Kyodai – Music Rises Up Remixes feat. Stee Downes (Preview)| Exploited

Daniel Steinberg – Let Me Down – Tube & Berger Remix
I found the Tube, now where’s the Berger(shout out to the Don & the King)?? If you don’t know who Tube & Berger are, you need to check yourself.

CRM116 Him_Self_Her – Gone Too Long
Gone Too Long remix previews. September 30 is the official release date, on Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels.

The Sets

Bloes Brothers #11 – Oliver Schories
One of the best series out there for house music.

Jody Wisternoff – INTENSIFIED SEPT 013

Jody Wisternoff –  Way  Out There Sept 013

That’s all folks. If you like this article, SHARE IT! Spread the word. Like I said, this is something I want to keep putting up on EDMTunes, however, if it doesn’t have support, it won’t fly. Until next time.  Hit that dance floor and take care of each other.
