HARD Summer 2013 Releases Official After Movie

The official after movie for this past summer’s music festival, HARD Summer, in Los Angeles was released today. The festival took place on August 3rd and August 4th at the Los Angeles Sate Historic Park with over 60 acts spread out among four stages. Headliners this year included Knife Party, Dog Blood, Duck Sauce, Flux Pavilion, Tommy Trash, Flying Lotus, Justice, Bassnectar, Empire of the Sun, Zedd, Baauer and Dillon Francis.

Fans in attendance were treated to the HARD (main) Stage, the HARDer Stage, the Summer Stage and the Underground Stage which was covered with a giant tent. According to The Bottom Line, this year’s lineup was doubled the size as last year’s. The festival ran from 12:30pm to midnight each day. With such an array of styles showcased from trap to dubstep to disco to even rap, thanks 2 Chainz, concertgoers varied as well.

On the HARD main website’s list of prohibited items were glowsticks, LED lights and any other popular accessories that went hand in hand with raves. The idea was to move this festival away from the rave scene and make it more of concert.

LA loves to go HARD. The company that put on this festival are also associated with HARD Day of the Dead (a two-day Halloween show at the same location) that will take place this November.
