16 year old talents are certainly few and far between and Erik Arbores, the young music prodigy from Netherlands, is definitely a forerunner in that category. With the release of an EP already under his belt, producing mashups/bootlegs/remixes for countless hits and signing onto record labels such as Spinnin’ Records and Universal Music Publishing, it is proof that this kid has already equipped himself with the right networks and experiences to push him to a higher level. One interesting fact about Erik Arbores is that apparently he is not only a music talent but he is also an academic prodigy – he graduated from high school at a tender age of 13, this certainly shows how smart the kid is and how he can achieve so much at such a young age. Riding at the back of his previous release on Spinnin’ Records, “Gold”, Erik Arbores is back with another electro hit with melodic and feel-good piano scores which builds up and explodes into an industrial-sounding drop. “Get Ready” was supported by Thomas Gold on his latest Fanfare Radio #064 and this electro hit will be released on Oxygen Records on 23 Sept.
