Almost everyone has heard Avicii’s “Wake Me Up” by now. “Wake Me Up” has been dominating the airwaves across the nation. Avicii hails from Stockholm and is a well known DJ/Producer. EDX, aka Maurizio Colella, is a House DJ/Producer based out of Switzerland and Miami. He’s headlined shows and festivals across the United States and other countries. 2012 saw the release of EDX’s debut album, On The Edge. EDX switches up the percussion from the original “Wake Me Up”, but keeps the guitar part from the original. EDX’s edit makes “Wake Me Up” sound not as folky as the original, besides the guitar part, but more of a house electronic sound. He adds a fresh synth melody and ends the preview with a great drop that will have you wanting to hear the full track. No word on when the track will be released except that it will be soon!
