Norwegian “New Guard” member Fehrplay is back with a preview of his upcoming tech house track “Talk To Me,” due out on July 29th…just in time to generate some hype for the upcoming “Pryda Friends” US Tour alongside Jeremy Olander, who is also another quickly rising star in the melodic progressive house world and labelmate on Pryda Friends.
In support of the kick-off of the US tour, Jonas released his “Monte” EP, featuring a deep melodic A-side by the same name…but on the flip side he chose to showcase his techie-side a bit more than his as-of-late powerful and melodically-steeped releases. “Talk To Me” does what Fehrplay does best, walking the tight-wire and deftly balancing bigger room melodic layers against a darker almost brooding techno side. The deep house –inspired bassline in addition to heady layered-chords on top of dreamy synth lines topped off with a hypnotic vocal sample is everything I’ve come to expect in a quality Fehrplay release.
