Ellie Goulding released the audio for her new track “Burn” a few days ago, and today she gives us the video premiere of the sure to be summer hit. “Burn” is set to be released on August 18th, and is a track taken from “Halcyon Days”, a repackaged version of “Halcyon” which includes seven new songs.
The video switches between scenes of Ellie singing at what looks to be an airplane runway, and a group of young people in a field. As the video continues, more and more people join the group. Scenes shift from lightness to darkness and the focus seems to be on the people lining lights in the field. Once we get to the end of the video, a giant dance party erupts and the lights lined in the field end up making Ellie’s symbol.
