Krewella’s gone a little collab-crazy lately, including collabs with Nicky Romero, Travis Barker, Fall Out Boy, Headhunterz all in production or to be released. However, one long-time running collab that no one expected from Krewella was with legendary Garuda Records owner and frontman Gareth Emery in the form of ‘Lights and Thunder.’ Emery’s been driving crowds absolutely wild with this track as far back as his Governor’s Island set from last year and Krewella showcased a more electrohouse, live-vocals version mixed with Showtek & Justin Prime’s Cannonball during their Ultra weekend 2 set. Emery’s version showcases more progressive and trance elements notably with that catchy bridge beat reminiscent of Emery’s Tokyo which all nicely complement Jahan and Yasmine’s smooth vocals.
