There’s no denying that Baauer’s “Harlem Shake” was the hottest track of the year, earning him worldwide recognition outside of the EDM world. Having earned the likings of many YouTubers putting their acts online, it landed him two honors at this year’s Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas last night: Top Dance Song and Top EDM Song.
Although he was not present in Vegas to receive his award, the audience was roaring with congratulations for the young EDM producer.
