Berlin’s Gut Punch Festival Fuses Heavy Metal, Bass Music For The First Time

Every now and then we get a music festival that changes the musical landscape for years to come. First, we had Woodstock, then Burning Man, Lollapalooza, and even EDC. Now comes Gut Punch. This music festival is a first of its kind, in that it will bring together two genres that share many similarities, and even fanbases – but are not often showcased together. We’re talking about heavy metal and bass music.

Gut Punch is set to take place in 2021 in Berlin. Having known the cities infamous musical history, I couldn’t think of a better place for this to be held.

The lineup includes huge names in the rock world such as Rage Against The Machine, Rob Zombie, System Of A Down, and Incubus. On the electronic side of things, we see industry titans including Skrillex, Excision, The Bloody Beetroots, and even a special Zomboy B2B Space Laces set. Further down the lineup are ever-iconic bands such as Slipknot, Underoath, Silverstein, The Used, & even New Found Glory. Upon further inspection, we also see Effin, SVDDEN DEATH, Ray Volpe, Yookie, & HEKLER. If you’re into rock, bass music, or both, this lineup is more than enough to make you happy.

Gut Punch Music Festival is slated for June 24-25, 2021 at Olympiastadion. With that location, we know there is more than enough space for this gargantuan lineup.

No other information is available for Gut Punch at this time, so stay tuned for their official announcement, and website. From the looks of things, 2021 is going to be a good one.
