After last year’s total success, Rapture Electronic Music Festival is back at it with a sequel to its underground house music beach festival, and this year is shaping up to be even better. This year’s lineup includes many of the same killer acts as last year, such as Rhadoo, Petre Inspirescu, Hernan Cattaneo, Art Department, and tINI. Raresh will finally accompany the [a:rpia:r] trio and will be kicking off the party with an early morning opener along with Rhadoo and Petre as RPR Soundsystem. Just a word on these Romanians – you haven’t seen a tech house performance if you haven’t seen RPR.
Also joining the party are some proper progressive and deep house legends, Guy Mantzur, Guy Gerber, and Yotto, three captivating DJ/Producers who have all come out with some serious jams over the past two years. We can expect Chris Liebing and Luciano to dazzle us this year as well.
All of this we can expect to be happening at the UN_MUTE, Terra, and Soundgarden stages anywhere between 0 and 150 yards from the beach, which is accessible to anyone looking to cool off. Take a break from dancing and partake in yoga sessions, Thai massages, or have your face painted – the world class house music isn’t the only thing to enjoy, but it is certainly why I’m going.
