Miami based DJ duo GTA have established a reputation mostly for their hard-hitting trap and bass heavy sets, however throughout the years they’ve made their stance known that they do not necessarily believe an artist should be limited to playing just one genre. The duo will certainly be backing up that stance on their next tour, dubbed ‘3 Night Stand‘.
The ‘3 Night Stand’ tour will consist of the duo visiting just five different cities across February and March, but they will be playing three consecutive nights in each city. The kicker? Each set in each city will follow a different genre theme: Yellow means moombah, club & world, purple means house and techno, and red means rap, trap & bass. Since they will be spending three days in each city they visit, the GTA boys will also be taking that opportunity to engage with each local community, as they are planning to host events such as production tutorials, visiting music schools, host meet and greets and more.
With this tour, GTA will be giving their fans a taste of their capabilities across several different genres, exemplifying that limiting an artist to a specific genre expectation isn’t always necessary. Every artist should have the freedom to explore making and playing different genres should they choose to do so, and that’s exactly what GTA is doing with this tour. The five cities they are stopping in are listed below, and you can explore tickets for all the shows at the link above.
