Spotify is testing a new – and quite in-demand – feature with its Discover Weekly playlist.
A social media producer at Mashable UK found the new feature in her own Discover Weekly playlist a few days ago when she saw a small heart and a block sign next to the track that was currently playing. Only certain users, however, have access to the feature while it’s being tested.

Though there is nothing confirmed about whether or not it will be rolled out as a feature for all users, we’re excited to see the possibility on the table. Being able to like or dislike tracks will allow users to further control the algorithm that creates the Discover Weekly playlist and, in turn, cater the playlists to their individual tastes.
