A Guide to All the Major New Year’s Eve Events

It’s been a fantastic year for dance music. From tons of original releases to countless tours and festival appearances from our favorite artists, 2017 was one for the books. It’s not quite over yet, though. End the year off with a bang at one of these events:

Countdown NYE

Countdown NYE lineup

Insomniac’s premier NYE destination, Countdown is sure to bring the good times with a great lineup. The 2-day festival will feature fan-favorite headliners Porter Robinson and Deadmau5, and Diplo. Bassheads will be able to head bang their way into 2017 with sets from Flux Pavilion, Kai Wachi, Borgore, and a special Jauz b2b Zed’s Dead set. Countdown will be held at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, CA.  Tickets are on sale here.

Snowglobe

If raving in the snow sounds like your idea of a good time, then Snowglobe Festival might just be perfect for you. The 3-day fest, set in beautiful Lake Tahoe, will definitely be a party with Dillon Francis, Porter Robinson, and Zedd headlining. The festival will also feature some non-dance music acts such as rappers Travis Scott and E-40, as well as breakout R&B artist Khalid. The rest of the lineup features something for everyone, with notable trap, future bass, and house artists all in attendance. Tickets are on sale here.

Lights All Night

Lights All Night 2017 lineup

The Lone Star state is home to this 2-day affair. Taking place in a large warehouse-type setting, Lights All Night brings an all-star lineup with great production and vibes to its attendees. In addition to well-known headliners Bassnectar, Marshmello, and yes, Porter Robinson again, the undercard for this festival is one of those most interesting we’ve seen, showcasing a lot of bass house and special b2b sets from up-and-coming artists like Brothel and Essex, as well as Holly and Sayer. Lights All Night is dedicated to showcasing you new talent no other NYE festivals feature, which is why it’s one of our top picks. Lights All Night takes place at Dallas Market Hall and you can buy tickets here.

Decadence

Decadence has been one of the top NYE festival destinations for years and has now expanded to three locations in Colorado, Arizona, and Utah.

Minimal Effort NYEMinimal Effort

If house music is more your speed, then you should consider Minimal Effort NYE in Los Angeles. Minimal Effort is one of the leading providers of techno and house lineups in California, and NYE is no exception.
