BBC Radio 1 is known across the electronic music industry as one of the most iconic and respected broadcasts out there. Its weekly residency series continually shares music from “the biggest names in dance music from the underground to the arena” and had featured artists including deadmau5 and Kolsch.
Its 2018 residencies have been announced and features the likes of Artwork, James Blake, Mura Masa, TOKiMONSTA, Bradley Zero, The Black Madonna and Jubilee.
The residencies will take place on Thursday evenings from 11pm to 1am GMT. Each of the artists will have a monthly slot on the show that lasts from January to June 2018.
The scheduling for the coming year is as follows:
- 1st Thursday of each month: TQD & Jubilee
- 2nd Thursday of each month: Bradley Zero & The Black Madonna
- 3rd Thursday of each month: TOKiMONSTA & Artwork
- 4th Thursday of the month: James Blake & Mura Masa
