The wrinkle of course is that these tracks are all collaborations or remixes, and lack his hard-hitting dubstep chops. Just one week after Skrillex dropped that “Humble” remix out of nowhere, we’re about to get another one tomorrow.
Intrepid leakers on r/Skrillex dropped a leak of a new collaboration between Skrillex and Sirah. Skrillex has famously featured Sirah on heavy tracks like “Kyoto” and “Bangarang”, but this collaboration is a downtempo chill track called “Deadbeat“. It’s basically a hip-hop track at its essence, and it seems like it could be a demo. However the internet also managed to surface the album art and the Spotify page ahead of tomorrow’s drop.
