Deadmau5 – BBC Radio 1 Residency
Hot on the heels of his grandiose wedding, Deadmau5 is back with his recent set for BBC Radio One’s Residency. Its a set that includes the Mau5’s picks across varied sub genres of the sound.
The set begins with his recent collaboration ‘Legendary’ with UK based rapper Shotty Horroh for his label Mau5trap. The second track of this two hours set is really the sexiest tune you will hear this week. Prok & Fitch‘s remix of ‘La La Land‘ creates the ambiance you need for your Saturday night adventures. The set goes through a smooth techno mode through its middle part and marks a banging end with tracks like ‘Red Axes‘ and ‘Phutek‘. Â Deadmau5 cleverly picks his artists keeping the flow of the set in mind. Other artists that are featured in the set include Eric Prydz, Tinlicker and Enrico Sanguiliano. Listen to the set below, we think it could easily have been a Techno club set somewhere in a warehouse in Berlin or Amsterdam.
