Snails & Space Laces – Break it Down (feat. Sam King)

After more than two years of playing it out live and his fans salivating over this track, Canadian producer Snails, born Frédérik Durand, has finally released his collaboration with Spaces Laces & Sam King, called “Break it Down.”

“Break it Down” combines a little bit of everything in a quick 2 minutes and 40 seconds. A bruising electro buildup with Sam King’s vocals, a gargantuan first dubstep drop, and of course, Snails’ patented and instantly recognizable vomitstep growls in the second drop. Released via OWSLA Records, you can expect to hear “Break it Down” plenty over the course of the rest of the year and beyond. Despite it’s lengthy shelf life as a well known ID, the track still absolutely bangs.

It seems like Snails has been at just about every festival in 2017. Upcoming he is performing this weekend at Tomorrowland in Belgium, and you can also catch him at Osheaga in his hometown Montreal, Baltimore’s Moonrise Festival, New York’s Electric Zoo, Excision’s Lost Lands Festival in Ohio, and of course his first mini-festival Sluggtopia at Red Rocks supported by NGHTMRE and Joyryde. Check out “Break it Down” on Soundcloud below, if you haven’t heard the official version yet, this one should ring a bell from a past liveset or two.
